About us

“Jungalee Unayan Parisad” is a non-political and non-profit making registered voluntary organization, located at Erai, Po- Charampa in the district of Bhadrak, Odisha. It was established in the year 1992 with the objective to work for the up-liftment of weaker sections of the society and was registered in the year 1994. It is a multi-dimensional organization and has a group of trained and sincere workers and volunteers, who are well capable of shouldering any responsibility. The organization is committed to work for all round development of poor and the down trodden with special focus on the problems of the SC/ST communities. The general body of the organization takes decision on policy-matters; whereas the administrative and financial powers are vested with the governing body. Its advisory body consisting of some of the important persons of the society provides suggestions and advices in formulating plans and programmes for new projects and review of on-going programmes. The accounts of the organization are audited by chartered accountant. The accounts of the organization are audited by chartered accountant every year and it is accountable to its donors and the government in respect of income and expenditure.

Vision


“Jungalee Unayan Parisad” envisages a society which is based on basic human values like liberty, equality, justice, compassion and universal brotherhood and a society which is free all kinds of exploitation.

Mission


To assure dignity and justice to the most disadvantaged sections of the society by empowering them so that they can ask for their jus right from the society and also to ensure that there is no discrimination on grounds of castes, class, religion, region or creed.

Legal Status:

  • Registered under the Society Registration Act 1860 (XXI of 1860) bearing No. I.G.R.CK. 19655/87 of 1994-95 dated 27.08.1994.
  • Registered under 12A of Income tax Act, bearing No. Tech. 12A/233/08-09 dated. 11.04.2008.

The organization is engaged in different in the districts of Bhadrak, Nabarangapur and Khurdha.
